Cot risers (bed risers or furniture risers) are wooden or plastic blocks meant to be placed under the foot of each cot leg to boost height. Parents may consider cot risers if they are tall, making access to their baby easier. Folks may also consider cot risers if they are looking to create additional storage under the cot.
However, traditional cot risers are not safe. The reason: Cot makers do not manufacture or sell cot risers, which means there are no cot risers available designed to perfectly and safely fit your cot. Which means, using cot risers can cause accidents due to, say, imbalance. At the same time, using only two cot risers to create an incline is most definitely unsafe!
No. Unlike traditional cot or bed risers, SNOO Leg Lifters are not intended to be used to make SNOO taller. Instead, SNOO Leg Lifters raise the head of SNOO to a very slight and safe incline. Because they are specifically designed for SNOO, once installed correctly, a stable fit is guaranteed.
Traditional cot risers and bed risers are dangerous—whether used to create an incline or to lift the cot off the ground. The unsafe incline can cause babies to fall asleep with their chest to their chin, restricting their airway. And the unsafe four-leg-cot lift can create an unstable sleep environment.
Yes! SNOO Leg Lifters were designed with safety as the top priority. SNOO Leg Lifters slightly raise a baby’s head to a safe 2.5-degree incline, which is well under the maximum recommended limit of 10 degrees. SNOO Leg Lifters can be helpful if your paediatrician recommends elevation for stuffiness or spitting up.
SNOO Leg Lifters are the ONLY “cot risers” designed specifically to be used with SNOO, which means they are the ONLY safe option. SNOO Leg Lifters are compatible with SNOO’s regular legs as well as Low Legs.
Yes! SNOO Leg Lifters are slip-resistant and capped with rubber-like feet that keep SNOO securely in place on most floor surfaces.
SNOO Leg Lifters are not adjustable. To install, simply unplug SNOO and lift the side of the bassinet where your baby’s head rests. (That is the side that is furthest from the power button.)
Next, slide each Leg Lifter onto each foot and then push the pair on firmly. Confirm a snug fit (no wobbles!) and they are ready for use.

I didn't receive the item
Unfortunately didn’t help our baby with reflux or when he had a stuffy nose, as it’s a very small incline.

We're sorry the incline didn't soothe your baby's congestion or reflux. SNOO's incline of 2.5 degrees was intended to be slight to ensure infants' safety while providing relief for mild symptoms. To remain in compliance with the AAP safe sleep guidelines, we don't recommend further elevating SNOO.
