SNOO Sack and SNOO Comforter Sack (our warmer wrap), were specially designed to be used in SNOO Smart Sleeper to help babies sleep safer and better. And because SNOO Sack was created by world-renowned paediatrician Dr. Harvey Karp, you can trust that every detail was designed with baby safety and parent sanity in mind!

Machine wash in cool or cold water with like colours. Never use hot water or chlorine bleach. Tumble dry on a low heat setting, making sure to dry the sack completely or air dry for best results!

Please Note: Before putting SNOO Sack in the washer, always attach the arm bands & leg flap to each other and zip the sack completely closed. That will avoid damage that might be caused by the fastener clinging to other items in the load.

What is a sleep sack for babies?

Most sleep sacks are, quite simply, wearable blankets. These zip-up blankets keep babies cosy during sleep without having a loose blanket in the bassinet (a huge safety no-no). In most cases, babies graduate to a sleep sack after they have outgrown swaddling. But SNOO Sacks are different! Babies can wear SNOO Sacks from birth to 6 months—or for as long as your little one sleeps in SNOO. SNOO Sacks feature wings that are specially designed to attach to SNOO’s safety clips, keeping babies safely on their backs in SNOO.

What are baby sleep sacks for?

Baby sleep sacks and baby swaddles are the preferred way to keep your baby cosy during sleep. After all, loose blankets can easily cover your baby’s face, causing breathing problems…or worse! That is why the NHS recommends that you keep your baby’s crib or bassinet free of loose bedding, including blankets. If you’re worried your bub will be cold, use a sleep sack…but never a weighted blanket or weighted swaddle! As a bonus: Some sleep sacks, like SNOO Sleep Sack, mimic the snug embrace of the womb, which helps to calm babies and bring on the Zzzs.

How does SNOO’s baby sleep sack work?

Simply place your baby inside their SNOO Sack, with their shoulders about five centimetres above the neckline. Next, straighten Baby’s right arm and pull the band across their arm and chest. Now straighten their left arm and snugly pull the other band across your little one’s chest and secure it. Bring the leg flap up between Baby’s legs, attach it to the arm band, and zip the sack all the way up! (The neckline should be well below your child’s chin.) Place your baby in SNOO, making sure their feet are at the end nearest to the power button. You will notice that your SNOO Sack features wings with a loop on each side. Slide these loops onto SNOO’s clips to ensure your baby will remain safely on their back. You will not be able to use SNOO’s soothing sound/motion unless the sleep sack is secured.

What makes SNOO Sack the best baby sleep sack?

SNOO Sleep Sacks are the only sleep sacks to be used with SNOO. They are specially designed with patented wings and safety clips that—when properly used—keeps your little one safely swaddled on their back in SNOO for up to 6 months (or up to 12 kilograms). Our sleep sacks are also good for growing hips. Plus, SNOO Sacks feature special inner arm bands and a leg flap that can keep even little escape artists bundled all night—as well as shoulder snaps for little ones who are ready for arms-out snoozing.

How does SNOO’s baby sleep sack compare to other similar products?

There is no comparison! SNOO Sacks are the only baby sleep sacks equipped with our wings that are used to safely keep your baby in SNOO. (Again, no other swaddles or sleep sacks are designed for use in SNOO.)

How long do babies wear sleep sacks?

SNOO Sacks are designed to comfortably fit little ones weighing 2 to 12 kilograms…or up to 6 months old.

How do I transition from swaddle to a baby sleep sack?

When you are ready to transition your baby from 'swaddle mode' to 'sleep sack mode,' locate the shoulder snaps on your baby’s SNOO Sack. Undo the snaps on one side of the SNOO Sack, letting just one of your baby’s arms out. After a few nights of good sleep with one arm out, go ahead and set the other arm free. If your little one starts to startle themselves awake with one arm out, rewind to both arms swaddled and try the one-arm-out strategy again in a week. This is the approach parents should use when preparing to wean their baby from SNOO to the cot. It is important to know that while some babies are ready for arms-out sleep around 3 to 4 months, that does not mean your little one is ready to be a SNOO graduate! It simply means they prefer to sleep with their arms free. It is highly recommended that babies remain in SNOO until 6 months old.

Can Baby use SNOO baby sleep sacks in the cot?

SNOO Sacks are designed to be used in SNOO and only in SNOO…BUT you can get the very same award-winning swaddle—complete with our inner bands and arms-out shoulder snaps—with our Sleepea Swaddle. The only difference between SNOO Sack and Sleepea is that Sleepea is wing-free, making it the ideal swaddle to use outside of SNOO.

How many SNOO Sleep Sacks do I need?

It is recommended that you have at least two SNOO Sacks in each size. After all, with babies, accidents are inevitable! If you buy SNOO, you will receive three SNOO Sacks with purchase—small, medium, and large. To stock up—and save money—many parents opt for The Big Bundle, featuring three SNOO sacks (one in each size)…plus two fitted sheets.

Awful sizing and such poor quality do not buy!!!! This would not even fit a newborn baby. So disappointed as had such high hopes no chance of getting any baby in it! Very thin and not soft at all too! Useless product unusable!!

Second time using and love these!

Lovely quality, these have a bit of give but are also nice and snug so baby feels secure. I like that they can have arms in at first but take them out for when they’re a bit bigger. The Velcro is sturdy and fits well and the zippers are smooth and relatively quiet. Have bought S, M and L.
